Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Wins 2010 Distinguished Achievement Award for Mathematics Curriculum That Applies Math Skills to Real World Business Skills

WASHINGTON, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) has been awarded the 2010 Distinguished Achievement Award by the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) in the mathematics category for the curriculum "Entrepreneurship: Owning Your Future."  Written by NFTE founder Steve Mariotti, the curriculum teaches the fundamentals of mathematics as well as offers a comprehensive guide to developing a business plan, giving students a chance to apply math skills to real-world business scenarios.
