The Charter School Association of Nevada recognizes Mike Kazek's impact on education
LAS VEGAS, June 26, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- The Charter School Association of Nevada (CSAN) awarded Nevada Virtual Academy's (NVVA) Head of School Mike Kazek with the 2012 Administrator of the Year Award. Each year CSAN recognizes a school administrator who has impacted the Nevada charter school community through their support and commitment in helping promote and improve education in charter schools. The award was presented at the Nevada Charter School Conference on June 17 and 18, 2012.
"It is a real honor to be selected. I've been pleased to help increase educational choice in this state over the last four years," said Kazek. "It's great to be able to provide access to the 21st century tools and exceptional curriculum that online education offers, and to be able to help families maximize their success regardless of their geographic, financial or demographic circumstance."
