Richmond American Homes Opens Innovative Center to Give Homebuyers More Choice

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- M.D.C. Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: MDC) is pleased to announce that its Richmond American Homes of Florida subsidiary, Orlando division, just announced the debut of its brand new 2,000-square-foot Home Gallery. The design center is located just off SR-528 and S. John Young Parkway. The new center is aimed at providing homebuyers with more choices in everything from flooring to cabinetry to home technology.

Richmond American's Design Center Grand Opening is scheduled for September 10.

Samples are displayed in one of the Home Gallery's coordinated Color Studios.

"Many builders restrict the selections to packages and don't let customers mix and match options. We think that's too limiting. When you're building from the ground up, personalization is a big selling point," said David Viger, Acting President for Orlando.

Complimentary design consultations
Homebuyers intimidated by hundreds of choices in tile or light fixtures can take advantage of the Home Gallery's complimentary design consultations. After contract, every buyer of a to-be-built home makes an appointment with a designer, who helps the buyer choose their selections and keep the project on budget. To take out the guesswork, Richmond American's fixtures and finishes are also professionally grouped into Color Studios for foolproof color matching.
