The Adventures of Dangles is inspired by a gift Hennessy-Howell received from her husband J.P. Howell, who is a Major League Baseball pitcher with the Tampa Bay Rays. The book is based on their true-life adventures and travels shared with their beloved "pet" monkey.
"As a new author, the positive response to Dangles has been both wonderful and humbling," said Heather Hennessy-Howell. "The parents, teachers and caregivers are especially interested in sharing the book with the children because it wraps important life lessons about hope and respect for yourself and others into a playful story that they can instantly relate to."
Told in rhyming verse form, Dangles is a fun and insightful read with messages of hope and friendship for children, families and reading groups.
The Adventures of Dangles is available for purchase or eBook download at Hennessy-Howell's site, Tate Publishing's online bookstore and major online retailers.
