New America Energy Corp. Acquires Reconnaissance Gravity Survey on Clayton Ridge Lithium Prospect
LAS VEGAS, Nov. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- New America Energy Corp. ("the Company") (OTCBB: NECA) , is pleased to announce that it has received a reconnaissance gravity survey performed by Hasbrouck Geophysics on its Clayton Ridge lithium brine prospect. The reconnaissance survey consisted of two lines so that initial modeling of bedrock depth and elevation could be conducted.
Jim Hasbrouck of Hasboruck Geophysics noted in the survey report, "although the modeling of the gravity data indicates that a substantial thickness of sediments exists in the middle of the valley between Clayton Ridge to the west and the Montezuma Range to the east, additional gravity surveys will need to be conducted in the area to determine if these bedrock and elevation lows become shallower to the south and/or north such that a closed basin exists."
Rick Walchuk, President of New America Energy Corp., commented "This early stage gravity survey over the claim block appears to have identified a closed basin scenario conducive to a potential lithium accumulation and subsequent trap, which potentially could host commercially viable mineral rich brines." Walchuk added, "I am excited about this early indicator of what appears to be a closed basin scenario on the Clayton Ridge prospect; we're now looking to develop our exploration program in Nevada."
A copy of the Gravity Survey will be posted to the Company website www.newamericaenergycorp.com in the near future.
