"I am so honored to have been appointed the Office of Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee! I am working with a fantastic group of professionals and we had an excellent first meeting at The White House on June 21, 2016. It was such a pleasure to meet Secretary Castro and the HUD staff members who will be working with us closely as we begin the work of the committee," Ayres said.

Throughout her career, she has been involved with non-profit organizations to provide homebuyer education and down payment assistance.
