New App set to Revolutionise Property Renovation Planning

Designed to assist anyone planning on renovating a property, the free app, 'Home Made' provides the user with a budget of renovation costs which are calculated and generated in seconds.

Home Made enables anyone to start their renovation planning better-informed and prepared in three fast, self-explanatory steps.  Users simply type in the details of the property they want to renovate, then choose the works required from a full list which includes items from painting and decorating and wall finishes, a kitchen or bathroom renovation to a basement dig or loft conversion. The clever application then calculates a complete overview of the cost of the project, including renovation costs overall and per sq ft / sq m, financing costs and stamp duty fees for buyers.  For those who are looking at buy to let investments, or to refurbish and sell on, it also provides useful financial information including anticipated gross rental income per week and month, and the net end value of the project.

The application also allows users to amend the data once calculated. For example, if the renovation costs come out higher than your available budget, users can go into certain elements, such as the kitchen refurbishments, to amend the underlying figures - the overall costs are then automatically calculated once the amendments are saved. The application allows users to store up to ten projects, as well as download or email their project summary.
