Pam Brooks-Crump is both the author and illustrator of Mia Inspired! A Caterpillar at a Crossroad. She studied languages and international business, spending several semesters abroad. It was during a study program in Mexico that she experienced firsthand the migration of the Monarch butterflies which is the journey of her main character in Mia Inspired! After 7 years in the business world, she became a full-time mom in 1992. Upon seeking and receiving Inner Guidance 16 years later, she began her current work of writing and illustrating children's picture books and giving workshops to empower children and their caregivers. She currently lives in Marietta, GA with her husband and 3 children.
