New Coalition Launches to Bring Best Practices to Vendor Credentialing

ALEXANDRIA, Va., April 25, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Partners from a broad range of healthcare stakeholders have joined together to form the Coalition for Best Practices in Healthcare Industry Representative (HCIR) Requirements. The Coalition aims to share best practices that support patient safety and cost savings across the spectrum of providers, suppliers and distributors.
Through meetings and participation in conferences such as the annual Vendor Credentialing Summit, the Coalition will facilitate discussion and capture best thinking around credentialing while ensuring safe, confidential patient care and continued access to advances in medical technology.
