New Digital Philanthropic Platform and Community is REVOLUTIONIZING Charitable Giving and Corporate Responsibility
Karma Points Digital Giving Site Allows Daily Donations for Businesses and Individuals
LOS ANGELES, April 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Introducing Karma Points (KP) (www.kpoints.org), a new charity platform created by two visionary millennials, David Teitelbaum and Ashley Caines. Karma Points is a convenient, rewarding and socially energized digital experience for individuals and corporate teams to donate to a variety of nonprofits at once. KP users have the option to select the amount they want to donate and each day that amount is contributed to a worthy cause pre-selected by KP. It takes the hassle and the potential risk out of donating and assures that worthy causes benefit.
For the launch, Karma Points has partnered with a number of dynamic and successful nonprofits that include Soles 4 Souls, Water Is Life, Action Against Hunger, The Lunchbox Fund, D-Rev, Medic Mobile and many more. These nonprofits have made an impact, across the globe, on projects such as fighting poverty through the collection and distribution of shoes and clothing, or providing clean drinking water through the distribution of 5,000 lifestraws to a rural African village, daily meals to starving children in rural South Africa.
Karma Points fills several corporate charitable program needs by tapping into the power of a shared experience around something positive and altruistic, with the additional benefit for companies of seamless public relations, corporate giving, and employee engagement.
"We are combining traditional fundraising strategies with a new paradigm that empowers the individual and business to build a thoughtful and compelling philanthropic model into the schedule of their daily lives," stated David Teitelbaum, co-founder of Karma Points.
"Enabling the digitally-native donor to make a difference in a social and simplistic way provides an ability to participate and give back to the community in a way that is actually familiar and comfortable," said Ashley Caines, co-founder of Karma Points.
Karma Points is launching on all social media platforms with FB, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
