New Edge Networks Adds Agent Channel Manager for East Coast

VANCOUVER, Wash., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- New Edge Networks, the managed services business communications unit of EarthLink Inc. (Nasdaq: ELNK), today announced that Tony Palazzolo has joined the company as National Channel Manager, focusing on developing and building agent relationships in the eastern region of the country.

Managing New Edge's Agent Channel in the East, Palazzolo will be leveraging 26 years of experience in the communications industry. Palazzolo will focus on creating new agent partnerships for the company, introducing them to New Edge's channel neutral structure that allows agents to team with 18 New Edge Account Executives across the country. He will also be nurturing existing agent relationships assisting with sales, training and new product launches.

Palazzolo joins New Edge Networks from XO Communications where he was most recently Director of Business Development for the Partner Sales Channel. His vast experience in the telecommunications industry includes sales leadership and business development positions at Network International Solutions, WorldCom, Switch and Data Facilities, ARC Networks and Teleport Communications. Palazzolo holds a masters degree in Computer Science from SUNY at Stony Brook and a bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic Institute of NYU.
