New Edge Networks and Datatel Solutions Sign Master Agent Agreement

VANCOUVER, Wash., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- New Edge Networks, the managed services business communications unit of EarthLink Inc. (Nasdaq: ELNK), today announced a master agent agreement with Datatel Solutions, an Integrated Communications Provider (ICP).  

By partnering with New Edge, Datatel and its solutions agents gain access to a fully managed nationwide MPLS network and multiple last mile offerings including ADSL, Cable, T1 and Ethernet over MPLS.  Through this agreement, Datatel also adds the ability to deliver Voice over IP and SIP trunking across the MPLS network through New Edge's recently announced AX Exchange, providing its agents with access to an integrated solution across the entire country.

Datatel's independent sales agents and Value Added Resellers (VARs) focus on small to medium size business (SMB) and multi-location enterprise customers by offering leading communication services that best fit their particular need at the lowest possible price.
