New fellowship-trained surgeons available in Tulsa
Two doctors join Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center
TULSA, Okla., Aug. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Dr. Kasra Ahmadinia and Dr. Sarat C. Kunapuli are the newest orthopedic surgeons to join the expert team of doctors at Eastern Oklahoma Orthopedic Center at 6475 South Yale, Suite 301, in Tulsa. As a fellowship-trained, board-eligible spine surgeon, Kasra Ahmadinia, M.D., specializes in performing minimally invasive and navigation-guided spine surgery as well as diagnosing and treating spine injuries and conditions, including spine tumors and scoliosis. A Tulsa native, Dr. Ahmadinia graduated summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis before completing his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School, an internship and residency at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, and a fellowship in spine surgery at Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush University Medical Center.
A Tulsa native, Sarat C. Kunapuli, D.O., is a board-eligible, fellowship-trained surgeon with specialty training in adult reconstruction procedures for the hips and knees, including minimally invasive hip and knee replacements, complex hip and knee revisions, direct anterior hip replacements and arthroscopic procedures. After receiving his medical degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Kunapuli completed an orthopedic surgery residency at McLaren Greater Lansing/Michigan State University and a fellowship in adult reconstruction at William Beaumont Health System.
