New Hire Announcement: Elizabeth Gilman Duane Joins EH&E
NEEDHAM, Mass., July 17, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- EH&E Inc., a leading provider of environmental and engineering consulting services, is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Gilman Duane has joined EH&E as Associate Director of EH&S Compliance / Biosafety Practice Leader. Ms. Gilman Duane joins the EH&E team with over 25 years experience in the laboratory safety and biosafety fields.
In her new role, she will be responsible for oversight of EH&E's biosafety practice and providing academic, research and healthcare clients with technical expertise in laboratory safety and biosafety.
Ms. Gilman Duane has worked for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Boston University and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals. Most recently she served as the Associate Director and Biosafety Officer in the Global Procurement and Risk Management Department at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals.
From 2004 to 2006, as the President of the American Biological Safety Association (ABSA), Ms. Gilman Duane collaborated with John Henshaw, Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), to renew the Agency's national alliance with ABSA. Gilman Duane serves on the board of the Eagleson Institute and is an active member of the New England Biological Safety Association (NEBSA), and ABSA.
