New Nightlife Destination, The Pawn Shop, Set To Open On Clematis Street

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Feb. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- In a striking recreation of the famed Miami hotspot, The Pawn Shop, best known for its impressively eclectic interiors and hosting major celebrities to hang out in everything from a full-size yellow school bus to a seat located in jetliner fuselage, The Pawn Shop will open at 219 Clematis Street on March 6, 2014. The dance club replaces Feelgood's, which in partnership with Motley Crue's Vince Neil, had a successful six-year run in Downtown West Palm Beach.

Ensuring that the 2014 version of The Pawn Shop will be as eye-popping as the famous Miami hotspot, the original operating partner, Paul Brown, is back in a partnership with South Florida nightlife visionary, Cleve Mash, of Mash Management Group.

Many of the original design elements, including the yellow school bus – outfitted for VIP – as well as a PanAm fuselage (complete with the traditional blue tile flooring) will be featured. New design elements include a life-size vintage ferris wheel from the 1950s on the expansive wall behind the bar; a DJ booth designed out of a Mack truck; a 1950s Rambler converted to VIP seats; vintage lunch boxes from 1970s and 1980s displayed on the wall; a high school scoreboard and much more.

The owners of The Pawn Shop are also focusing on what matters most: the music. The 26' high ceilings and a brand-new, state-of-the-art sound system and light show provide guests with the ultimate nightlife experience.

The front bar of The Pawn Shop, which will open around 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, will feature a glass-top bar with fun tchotchkes available for sale. The rest of The Pawn Shop will open at 9 p.m., and stay open until 3 a.m. on weekdays, and 4 a.m. on weekends. The 9,000-sq-ft. night club features an impressive 175 feet of total bar space, all serving up a wide array of cocktails.
