New Oil And Gas Industry Standard For Effective "Anti-Deposition" Technology Set By Independence Oilfield Chemicals, LLC

THE WOODLANDS, Texas, March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Independence Oilfield Chemicals, LLC (IOC) announced today the commercial offering of its new fluid-conveyed ParaFrac™ system—a chemical stimulation technology that safely delivers production treating chemicals deep into the reservoir to preemptively treat for costly wax- and asphaltene-related production issues.

The newest member of Independence's ChemReach™ Service, the ParaFrac system is not only designed to prevent organic deposition during the stimulation job, but also deliver added operational efficiencies via patented slow-release chemistries that penetrate deep into the reservoir to further minimize buildup and enhance well economics. In addition, the ParaFrac system provides an extra measure of environmental compliance because its wax crystal modifiers are dissolved in proprietary BETX-free oil that is part of the guar slurry. This combination better utilizes the oil and makes the system much more environmentally acceptable—all while maintaining the benefits of the gelling agent and paraffin inhibitor.
