New PickUp USA Fitness Franchise Opening in the Fort Lauderdale Area

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Jan. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- PickUp USA Fitness (www.pickupusafitness.com) announced today that they have awarded a new franchise in Fort Lauderdale, FL.  This will be the second PickUp USA gym that will open in Florida, joining their club located at 4515 Oak Fair Blvd, Suite #102 in Tampa.  PickUp USA also has gyms in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas.

Founded in 2011, PickUp USA gyms are full-service fitness clubs with services focused on basketball.  Their clubs offer group and private basketball training, weight and cardio rooms, lounges, locker rooms, retail merchandise, and the company's main attraction – pickup basketball with referees.

Ramon and Stacy Scott are the owners of the new PickUp USA club in Fort Lauderdale.  "When we first came across the PickUp USA franchise opportunity, we were very intrigued," said Stacy.  "After going through the process of learning about the company, and the services they offer customers, we realized it was a perfect fit for our community."

The Scotts are heavily involved with the basketball community in the Fort Lauderdale area.  Ramon plays basketball in a local adult league, and their son is involved with travel basketball.  "I've seen the need for something like PickUp USA in our area for a long time," says Ramon.  "PickUp USA is going to be a great addition to the basketball scene in South Florida."
