New PickUp USA Locations Coming to California and Arizona
Basketball Based Fitness Club Awards Initial Franchises
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PickUp USA Fitness (www.pickupusafitness.com), headquartered in Irwindale, CA, announced today that they have awarded new franchises in California and Arizona. "We're extremely excited," says PickUp USA Founder and President, Jordan Meinster. "We can't wait to get our new gyms open, and to give a whole new market of consumers the opportunity to experience what PickUp USA is all about."
Founded in 2011, PickUp USA gyms are full-service fitness clubs with a focus on basketball. Their clubs offer group and private basketball training, weight and cardio rooms, lounges, locker rooms, retail merchandise, and the company's main attraction – pickup basketball with referees.
PickUp USA launched their long awaited franchise program in May of this year, and they have seen significant interest from across the country. "It's really exceeded our expectations," says Meinster. Jay Bhakta, one of PickUp USA's new franchisees in Arizona, is an experienced business owner, who has owned and operated close to a dozen franchises. Bhakta will be developing his first PickUp USA location just outside of Phoenix in the Chandler/Gilbert area. This will be the first PickUp USA location in Arizona. "There is no bounds for the opportunity that is available for PickUp USA Fitness in our area, because no one offers the services that we do - particularly the training programs and the officiated pickup games," says Bhakta.
