New Pro-Am Golf Tournament Drives Donations From Houston's Oldest Local CPA Firm
HOUSTON, April 6, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches, LLP teed up a new charitable event benefiting Pink Ribbons Project, the Houston based program supporting breast cancer awareness and funding. Held the week of the Shell Houston Open, Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches Charity Golf Pro-Am saw 15 foursomes raise more than $5000 at the Kingwood Country Club event.
"We're always looking for new ways to give back to our community," said Rod Desroches, partner. When we saw an opportunity to combine golf and giving, we felt honored to help. We hope that this tournament will boost Pink Ribbons in their mission to save the lives of those touched by breast cancer. This is our first charity pro-am, but we hope it gains momentum and allows us to support even more charities in the future."
