CAMBRIDGE, England, May 21, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
Document Workspace, a new gDoc Inspired product from Global Graphics Software, makes it possible bring your content into a single space where you can work on it and collaborate with others.
Document Workspace creates workspaces that let you unite together pages that started life as different file types, even if you don't have the original software. It retains the connection to any source documents that you may have brought into your workspace such as web pages, images, text files, spreadsheets and presentations, helping you to stay connected to your information and, helpfully, reminds you where the original source came from.
"Document Workspace makes it easy to connect to your content because you can drag over 100 different formats into your workspace, including web pages and hard copy from scanners. It retains the link to the source document and you can check for updates," says gDoc Inspired product manager Israel Garcia. "You don't even need to have the software that the original files were created in installed on your machine. You can save a workspace at any stage, so if you were assembling research, for instance, you can pause part way through and keep returning to your workspace until you have finished. You can also share your workspace and invite other people collaborate with you."
When you have brought your content into your workspace you can continue to work on it by adding annotations, scribbling notes, making text corrections and even correcting red eye on photos. Moving pages around between your documents is easy because you simply drag and drop thumbnails of your pages as if you were moving around pieces of paper.
A free 15 day trial of Document Workspace is available for download at https://store.gdoc.com/workspace/evaluate/. The full product costs USD 49.95 (other payment currencies are available) and is currently compatible with Windows 7 & 8.
