Dr. Cuomo is a board-certified radiologist and expert in cancer radiology. Award-winning documentarian Ken Burns and singer/songwriter Valerie Simpson will offer an intimate look at the ways in which cancer has profoundly affected their lives.
Dr. Cuomo's tips include limiting red meat and foods that contain potentially harmful chemicals. Dr. Margaret Cuomo
Margaret I. Cuomo, M.D., is a board certified radiologist, teaching professional and national advocate for the prevention of cancer, heart disease and diabetes. She graduated summa cum laude from St. John's University and received an M.D. degree from Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. She served as an attending physician in diagnostic radiology at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, specializing in diagnostic radiology and dedicating much of her time and energy to the diagnosis of cancer and AIDS, using state-of-the-art CT scans, ultrasound examinations and MRIs.
