The story of "Clean Break" follows Luke Rodgers, Steven Helmkamp and Chase Penny as each man is plucked from his everyday life to explore the "Clean Break lifestyle," challenging himself to explore what it means to truly break free:
- Luke Rodgers, a lifelong athlete, MBA-holding bartender and brother of one of the NFL's MVP quarterbacks, joined "Clean Break" to put his athleticism to the test and find the confidence to pursue his dreams.
- Steven Helmkamp, an adventure-seeker stuck in a professional rut, sought to rekindle his motivation and find true happiness.
- Chase Penny, a Chicago native and stay-at-home dad, hoped for a second chance to live out his endless pursuit of adrenaline and to re-energize his outlook on life.
