New Salvation Army Holiday Campaign with Denver Mattress Hits Milestone

One-Million Dollars Raised First Two Years

DENVER, Jan. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- When the books close on The Salvation Army Intermountain Division's "Together Doing Even More Good" holiday campaign, charitable donations this year will be at or near last year's all-time high of $550,000. That equates to over a million dollars raised in just the last two years during the short Thanksgiving to Christmas window. Not included in this figure is the annual match by the Colorado-based Denver Mattress Company on the first $150,000 raised — boosting the two-year total to more than $1.3 million.

First introduced in 2016, the "Together Doing Even More Good" campaign leveraged The Salvation Army's popular tagline to highlight the unique benefits of the Intermountain Division's matching gift program. As it has for the past 18 years, Denver Mattress augmented its financial gift by contributing strategic, creative, and paid media support to the campaign.
