New StatementPacks® Capability Cuts Postage Costs For Large Mailers

EL DORADO HILLS, Calif., March 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- DST Output, LLC, part of the Customer Communications Segment of DST Systems, Inc., today announced the launch of StatementPacks, a first-to-market solution that consolidates multiple finished statements into a single envelope for First-Class Mail® delivery.

Containing patented technology, the proprietary new solution from DST requires no additional programming or sign-up fees from its users. Customers can realize an immediate savings on their overall postage expense based on the number of sealed statements inside the envelopes. The end consumer benefits from a more convenient and efficient way to receive important mail.

According to Frank Delfer, executive vice president of DST Output, LLC, StatementPacks can result in significant recurring annual savings on postal expenses for high-volume mailers.

Every StatementPack holds between two and five individual statements, each prepared and sealed in its own envelope to increase privacy and security. DST's proprietary factory systems and advanced Postal Service® technologies gather, combine, and seal together the statements in a specially marked StatementPack envelope with custom graphics.

The release of the no-cost solution follows two successful pilot programs that confirmed StatementPacks' validity with both the sender and the recipient.
