- 69% think marijuana should be sold at the pharmacy, 60% think marijuana should be sold in its own store, 39% think marijuana should be sold at the liquor store, 17% think marijuana should be sold in coffee shops, and 13% think marijuana should be sold at the supermarket
- Men and women had somewhat divergent opinions of where marijuana should be sold:

- 20% think those 18 and over should be able to buy marijuana
- 50% think those 21 and over should be able to buy marijuana
- 15% think those 30 and over should be able to buy marijuana
- 7% think there should be no age limit
On regulation:
- 80% think marijuana should be regulated like alcohol
"We are just starting to see what our country with legalized marijuana will look like, so it's no surprise that opinions are widely varied when it comes to its sale and distribution," said Debra Borchardt, Markets Analyst at TheStreet. "TheStreet's survey gauged people's comfort with hypothetical situations – pot in a supermarket, people under 18 being able to purchase it – and the results showed some big differences between men and women which surprised us."
