New Travel Website Startup Lets Users Name Their Price for Business & First Class Flights

LAS VEGAS, June 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- With the introduction of 'Name Your Price' for Business & First Class seats, BizFirst4Less promises Business Class & First Class flyers a breakthrough with savings up to 25% compared to booking directly with the airlines or with the leading travel websites.

With a new class of software, the Match-Engine that powers the website and the App lets users bid on specific flights they select in Business and First Class.

A user for example can search and select flights from L.A. to Paris in Business Class with a published fare of $4,600, and then bid his/her price of $3,700 for the same flights. If the offer is accepted, the e-ticket will be issued and the payment will be processed. If the offer is not accepted, there would not be any charge. Depending on seat availability, dates, and confidential terms, users can save up to 25% compared to the published fares available on the airline's website and on sites like Priceline and Expedia.

This may sound like Priceline's 'Name Your Own Price' model (Priceline shut down Flight-bidding in 2015), but this is different. Priceline's model was for Economy Class only, and users could not choose or know which flights, airlines, or times they would fly. With BizFirst4Less, users search and select specific flights and then bid only on the flights they select, so they are in control. This is a brand new concept.

Founder Oren Gordon is a former Travel Management Consultant, and author of 'Business Travel Management - Developing & Managing a Travel Program' (published 2006).

At the crossroads of travel and technology, Gordon combined knowledge of the travel industry, market needs, and innovative technology to build the first mobile and web solution intended for saving on Business and First Class tickets.

Gordon collaborated with IBM to build the Match-Engine for the site and the App, and with Sabre for inventory integration and ticket fulfillment. He then contracted with airlines for their participation (the negotiated terms and which airlines are contracted with the website are kept confidential per the agreements).
