RICHARDSON, Texas, April 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- VCE, the worldwide leader in converged infrastructure, today announced a new VDI Integration Service for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop that provides application deployment and a validated end-user virtual desktop environment including Citrix NetScaler with TriScale technology on the VCE Vblock® Specialized System for Extreme Applications. VCE solutions with Citrix mitigate risk and reduce desktop TCO to provide an unmatched experience in deploying VDI so organizations can provide their users with the freedom to work from anywhere using familiar applications on any laptop, desktop or mobile device. The deepening of the partnership between VCE and Citrix has resulted in the expansion of the ever-growing portfolio of VCE End-User Computing Services that provides customers a simple, rapid path to application and service delivery in cloud environments.

Operational installation and configuration of Citrix NetScaler – an industry-leading application delivery controller.

AVAILABILITY
The VCE VDI Integration Service for Citrix XenDesktop is expected to be orderable by early May 2015. Citrix products and VCE services are available through existing Citrix and VCE channels, with VCE providing final integration and installation at the customer premise.
