New Video Added: 'My Reboot Camp' Web Site Launches for Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans
BRADENTON, Fla., January 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, My Reboot Camp (MyRebootCamp.com), a national, online resource for veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families, launched to address the real issues and challenges of transitioning to civilian life after active duty.
The multimedia site includes webisodes featuring interviews with veterans, including School, a newly uploaded video on the site. This video discusses the barriers and resources available to veterans seeking higher education.
However, not all veterans are aware of the resources accessible to them. For Amanda Riggins, a U.S. Air Force veteran, the best part of returning to college has been connecting with other veterans and the feeling of being a part of a close-knit family again.
The web site's purpose is to help the more than 1.7 million service men and women who served in one of these two conflicts to successfully make that shift. The web site also includes a series of learning modules with links to a wealth of resources for military and their families to access.
