Social Media Response.org (SMR) is a website that allows anyone across the globe the opportunity to charge a fee for responses to personal social media messages.
Annoying personal messages from Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and many others can now be used to generate real cash. SMR can also help those are who serious about receiving a response through social media – hence the website's name.
Additionally, SMR is a website that enables people to charge a fee for receiving promotional messages through platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
Companies looking to make contact through social media can choose their payment rates – from $1 right up to $50,000 – in return for a response to their message or promotion. This could include taking a survey, signing up for a free trial or even test-driving a new car.
Once the response is completed and confirmed via Social Media Response.org, the user is paid within 10 minutes via PayPal.
A spokesperson from Social Media Response.org says:
"Since Facebook was launched by Mark Zuckerberg over 10 years ago, there has been demand for a service like Social Media Response.org. The service we provide benefits social media users and individuals or companies looking to promote their products and services."
"There are more than 9.7 billion messages sent annually through Google and Yahoo! Messenger services alone."
"Our service is particularly popular with women who are sick of being sent unsolicited emails or direct messages through their social media accounts. Social Media users are not the only benefactors for Social Media Response.org. There is an estimated 8.3 trillion SMS text messages that are sent out monthly. And we believe that a full 67% of these messages on both sided of the coin (sender and receiver) can now use Social Media Response.org."
"When these messages are unsolicited and frequent, they can be really annoying. Our service allows users to charge a fee for their time responding to things like Direct Messages (DM's) on Instagram and Twitter. And even SMS text messages from cell phones."
"Our service is also used for marketing and brand awareness. Conversion rates from social media marketing are notoriously low. However, we conservatively estimate that engagement and conversion rates from promotional messages sent through platforms such as Instagram and Facebook could increase by 800% when our service is used."

Additional Information:
Social Media Response.org works in the following way:
For Social Media Users:
- When a brand, individual or company sends a direct message through social media the user refers them to Social Media Response.org via an app or direct to the website.
- If they want a response from the user, they will be given a dropdown menu with a range of payment rates from $1.00 - $50,000 to select. They are then asked who the money is being sent to: either a social media name, email address or cell phone number.
- As soon as payment is committed, a notification is sent to the recipient to allow them to respond to the message. The recipient just needs to include a screenshot show SMR that they did indeed respond to the person.
- A payment is then made to their PayPal account in less than 10 minutes.
