WEST GEAUGA, Ohio, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- West Geauga Schools' new website will increase efficiency, collaboration and parent engagement for the district.
The website, built on a Content Management System created specifically for K-12 schools by eSchoolView, streamlines information so visitors can find what they need more readily. The improved navigation of West G's site is displayed front and center and highlights district news, initiatives and information in high demand.
This site was previously hosted by SchoolPointe before eSchoolView overhauled the design. eSchoolView, based in Columbus, OH, serves hundreds of schools across the country, from the Midwest to California and New York to Georgia.

West Geauga officials wanted to work with a vendor with the capability of incorporating various tools into one cost-effective package. The site now features a custom design and is fully responsive for optimal mobile viewing along with an app that anyone can download for free.
The CMS platform the site is built on was selected for its ease of use; posting information or creating pages is as simple as working in a word processing document. Staff from across the district will have access to the site and teachers will have the ability to create their own pages.
The eSchoolView Content Management System (CMS) has more than 20 components. News articles, videos, photo galleries, surveys, quizzes and more can easily be added to any page or section of the site.
"We created -- and provide routine updates to -- our CMS from direct customer input," O'Leary said. "We've gotten off to a great start in West G."
eSchoolView offers personalized training and support as part of all of its competitively priced contracts. Key staff will be taught how to use the system who will train others in the district; support thereafter is unlimited and available by phone, email, virtual sessions and video.
