AURORA, Ill., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- When it comes to the "white sock test," most household floors don't stand a chance. That's why O-Cedar® has introduced an innovative wet or dry floor cleaning system that redefines what clean means. The O-Cedar® ProMist™ has a refillable bottle that gives consumers flexibility and control to use whatever cleaning solutions they want – including just water. It has a durable, microfiber pad that has millions of fibers to grab and trap dirt and grime for an effective clean and can be washed up to 100 times.

The ProMist is changing the game on how to keep floors clean. The microfiber pad requires minimum to no cleaning solution to get the job done. It's safe for vinyl and linoleum; wood and laminate; ceramic tiles and marble and stone. With the popularity of hard wood floors, consumers have the choice of controlling the moisture level or dry mopping. Since there are still many "disposable divas," the ProMist offers a semi disposable microfiber pad that can be washed up to five times or just tossed.
ProMist is the eco-friendly answer to re-thinking clean. In addition to generating less waste with the reusable, washable pad, the wet cleaning system has a refillable bottle. It allows users to mix their own chemical-free cleaners (or use just water) for peace of mind with kids and pets. Floors are clean – and safe.
The floor cleaning system is designed for comfort, versatility and performance. The ProMist has an ergonomically designed handle and trigger for optimal comfort. The mid grip provides comfort and leverage for deep scrubbing. The easy to maneuver swivel head fits under furniture and around toilets. The extra large microfiber pads extend beyond the base to protect furniture, get into corners and clean baseboards. In addition, the pad attaches to base strips for easy, clean-hands removal. The base also has "grips" for the use of disposable cloths.
"Whether it's offering a bucket-free cleaning option or reusable, microfiber pad, the ProMist is changing the game on how to keep floors clean," said Domineca Neal, senior marketing manager, on the O-Cedar® brand at Freudenberg Household Products. "Microfibers provide superior cleaning and the washable head allows consumers to have a fresh start every time."
The floor cleaning system is designed for use with two types of washable microfiber pads:
- Durable pad for multiple rooms that can be machine washed up to 100 times
- Semi-disposable pad that can be washed up to five times or tossed
