New Xilinx Virtex-7 FPGA VC709 Connectivity Kit Accelerates Design Productivity for High-Bandwidth Applications

(NASDAQ: XLNX) announced availability of its Virtex®-7 FPGA VC709 Connectivity Kit, a 40 Gbps platform that enables designers to accelerate design productivity for high-bandwidth and high-performance applications, such as network interface cards for security, network monitoring, and high frequency trading appliances.  Ideal for customers needing to prototype their low power, high performance, single-chip PCIe® Gen3, 40Gbps Ethernet applications, the kit includes a fully validated and supported reference design running on a Virtex-7 X690T FPGA, design tools, and IP cores that streamline the evaluation and development of connectivity systems, enabling reduced development costs and faster time-to-market.
