New York City Wins Ryan Seacrest's 'Idols Rock My Town' Competition on Eventful

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Ryan Seacrest, the "American Idol" host, successful television producer and host of the most popular syndicated radio show in the country, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, along with Eventful, the leading digital media company for promoting live entertainment, movies and local events, and 19 Entertainment, one of the world's leading entertainment companies, announced that more than 57,000 fans from cities across the country participated in the "Idols Rock My Town" competition hoping to win a free concert in their hometown featuring "American Idol" winners Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta. New York City was the winning city, and eligible participants will be invited to the concert to take place on February 12, 2010 at the Highline Ballroom, 431 West 16th St, New York, NY 10011, at 7 p.m.

Free tickets will also be given away to listeners on Seacrest's award winning, nationally syndicated radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest and WHTZ (Z100) in New York. Listeners can register to win at ryanseacrest.com. Open to legal contiguous U.S./D.C. residents, 13 years and older. Sweepstakes ends at 12:00am January 30, 2010. One entry per person. A grand total of four trips for two will be awarded including air travel courtesy of Orbitz and hotel courtesy of W Hotels.

Fans will be wowed with the lineup starting with the winner of "American Idol" Season 8, Allen, who won the hearts of America each week by adding his signature pop-rock sound to each performance he gave. Allen, who hails from Conway, Arkansas, is a pianist and self-taught guitar player. Allen released his debut self-titled album through 19 Recordings/Jive Records in November 2009. His first single from the album, "Live Like We're Dying," received rave reviews and is currently climbing the U.S. radio charts.

Lambert also captured the nation's imagination when he competed on the eighth season of "American Idol." During his "Idol" journey, he sang songs from many different genres and impressed the judges every week with his "out there" performances and tremendous vocals. Lambert has already conquered the Billboard charts, with multiple debuts on the Hot 100 and the Hot Digital Songs charts. His highly anticipated debut album, For Your Entertainment, on 19 Recordings/RCA, was released in November 2009. He also recorded "Time for Miracles", an original score, produced by Rob Cavallo, for the soundtrack of the motion picture "2012."

Iraheta, the vibrantly red-haired "American Idol" rocker, was the youngest contestant in the show's history (age 16) to make it past the top 12. With her powerful, raspy voice, spunky personality and captivating, weekly performances, Iraheta made it through to the season's Top 4. Her debut album, Just Like You, on 19 Recordings/Jive Records, is set for release on December 1st.
