Newmark Holdings Bolsters Its Team With Seasoned Real Estate Professional Courtney Adham

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Newmark Holdings, a vertically integrated owner, operator, property manager and developer of commercial real estate, has further bolstered its team with the addition of seasoned real estate professional Courtney Adham. The announcement was made by co-CEOs Eric Gural and Brian Steinwurtzel.

An accomplished real estate professional, Ms. Adham will serve as executive managing director of marketing and strategic initiatives at Newmark Holdings, where she will be responsible for leading the corporate and portfolio strategic marketing, while collaborating with a variety of other departments. She will also be overseeing the firm's new branding initiatives as well as the design strategies on the property level.

Ms. Adham brings more than a decade of strategic agency experience to the table. Her select clients have included The Trump Organization, Paramount Group, Goldman Sachs, Jack Resnick & Sons, Jamestown Properties, Kushner Properties, Invesco, Northwood Investors, Stellar Management, Rockpoint Group, Durst Organization and NY/NJ Port Authority. Her notable agency leasing assignments have included 77 Water Street, 40 Wall Street, 60 Wall Street, 100 Broadway, 199 Water Street, 225 Park Avenue South, One Soho Square and One World Trade Center.

Ms. Adham was most recently a managing director in the Manhattan headquarters of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, where she helped to establish the firm's Strategic Agency Group (SAG). Exclusively serving Manhattan's landlord clientele, SAG's specialized solutions integrate the leasing, marketing, asset management and strategic positioning of assets to develop holistic, custom-tailored agency strategies. As a part of the leasing team, SAG professionals enhance the property positioning, lease negotiation, transaction management and financial analysis service offerings.

Prior to this, Ms. Adham served as a managing director in the Strategic Agency Services division of Cushman & Wakefield. Preceding her tenure with C&W, she was an asset manager at Waterman Interests, LLC, where she oversaw all leasing and asset management services for Waterman's Manhattan portfolio. Earlier in her career, Ms. Adham served as a real estate professional at Allied Partners Inc., a private real estate investment company, where she worked in both the asset management and leasing departments. She began her career at Reckson Associates Realty Corp., where she provided leasing services for a portfolio of Class A commercial office buildings in excess of 5.6 million square feet throughout Manhattan.

Ms. Adham is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Ms. Adham is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in communications. She obtained a Certificate of M.S. in Real Estate from New York University.
