WASHINGTON, April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The County Board of Supervisors are caught in an "April Fools" joke in this online video.  The incident that created a national and international media storm followed their approval of a sweeping "Beach Ordinance" that bans the use of Footballs and Frisbees on Southern California beaches.  Watch video here   Video:

Video Explains Controversy

Critics take on the County Board of Supervisors whose spokesperson in the video attempts to explain the comprehensive beach ordinance.  When the main stream media reported there would be a $1000 fine for violations of the ordinance, the Supervisors and bureaucrats back-tracked by demanding the media correct their reports, but that never happened, only "media updates" occurred as the Ordinance was revised by the county.

Video Reveals What Really Happened:

Ron Kaye, long time editor of the L.A. Daily News now syndicated columnist and blogger, explains why the so-called erroneous media report was accurate.
Carol Baker, Beaches & Harbors Division Chief explains the County's position and policy.
Jon Nahhas,
Civic activist, describes why the county rushed to change the wording of the ordinance.

Full Disclosure Network® presents this first segment in a series with Ron Kaye covering the often bumbling strategy of Government in Southern California.  From L.A. County to L.A. City Ron Kaye shines the light from his perspective as a former long-time editor of the Los Angeles Daily News.  This series promises to demonstrate how very entertaining the development and implementation of public policy can be in So Cal.  The entire series is coming soon to public cable channels in California and major cities across the nation as well as online at
