Nexxus Lighting Array® LED Lamps Light Major Hotel Through New Strategic Distribution Partner

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Feb. 2, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nexxus Lighting, Inc. (NASDAQ: NEXS) is working with a new strategic distribution partner, Lighting Connections, Inc. to help hotels, retail stores and other commercial lighting users reap the benefits of converting to Array LED replacement light bulbs.  In a recent project, over 800 new Array Par 20 lamps and over 80 MR-16 HO lamps were installed as the first phase of a multi-phase relighting of a major Miami Beach hotel.  The Array LED bulbs are expected to reduce their lighting energy cost by over 80%, while reducing their carbon footprint and eliminating maintenance costs for years to come.  When completed, over 2000 light bulbs will be converted to LED in this single project alone.
