NFLPA to Host "Business of Football: Rookie Edition" for Incoming Rookie Class
Event to take place at IMG Academies, one of world's largest sports training and education complexes
BRADENTON, Fla., June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The NFL Players Association announces it will host the "Business of Football: Rookie Edition" seminar June 28-29, 2011 at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Fla. The event is open only to players drafted during the April 2011 NFL Draft and will focus on financial planning, media and other subjects to prepare rookies for their professional football careers.

The IMG Performance Institute and IMG Madden Football Academy oversee the professional football training program, which provides players with not only on-field training but also access to mental conditioning, physical conditioning, vision training, nutrition, communications and media training, life skills and physical therapy. Participating rookies in the "Business of Football" seminar will hear from industry experts including IMG performance experts, and will have access to IMG's facilities and staff resources for the duration of their stay.
