NIKSUN Purchases Sandstorm Enterprises

PRINCETON, N.J., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- NIKSUN, a premier provider of high-end real-time enterprise network surveillance solutions, today announced the purchase of Sandstorm Enterprises, further expanding its reach into the network appliance marketplace. Sandstorm's security-oriented product line, best known for the security forensics analysis and visibility tool, NetIntercept, became wholly-owned, marketed and distributed by NIKSUN, effective January 11, 2010. Its product portfolio will be released with new updated versions under the NIKSUN label and will be available along with NIKSUN's award winning revolutionary NetVCR® and NetDetector® solutions. The purchase of Sandstorm enhances NIKSUN's already strong position in the network security area.
