NiSource Names Two New Director Candidates
Candris, Taylor Bring Senior Leadership, Operational Experience
MERRILLVILLE, Ind., April 5, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NiSource Inc. (NYSE: NI) today announced its director nominees for election to the company's Board of Directors for 2012-13. The candidates include two new candidates not currently serving on the Board, Aristides S. Candris and Teresa A. Taylor.
Candris is a Senior Advisor at Westinghouse Electric Company, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer until his retirement on March 31, 2012.
Taylor served as Chief Operating Officer of Qwest Communications, Inc., until April 2011. Her previous roles with Qwest included Executive Vice President, Business Markets Group and Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Taylor also is a director of First Interstate BankSystem, Inc.
