HUIZHOU, China, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- NIVS IntelliMedia Technology Group, Inc., ("NIVS" or the "Company") (NYSE Amex: NIV), a consumer electronics company that designs, manufactures and sells intelligent audio and visual products, today announced that the Company has introduced to the marketplace a new 3G surveillance camera as a replacement to a previous model and expects that the product will be available for sale by mid-February.
The application for the new 3G surveillance camera includes security in a commercial or industrial environment or in a home setting for baby or child monitoring, as an example. The camera can be accessed via a mobile phone in addition to computer access. It is expected that the new camera will be marketed through China Unicom's distribution network as well as the NIVS sales channels.
