NJBIZ Magazine Recognizes R&J Public Relations Among Best Places to Work in New Jersey

BRIDGEWATER, N.J., Feb. 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- R&J Public Relations has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey for 2011 by NJBIZ Magazine.  

This prestigious annual program identifies, recognizes and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey.  The Best Places to Work in New Jersey program honors up to 70 companies split into two groups: small/medium-sized companies (15-249 employees) and large-sized companies (more than 250 employees).  R&J Public Relations has been named one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey in the medium category, one of only 29 companies to receive this honor in the small/medium-sized business category.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the 70 Best Places to Work in New Jersey.  The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics.  This phase was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation.  The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience.  This phase was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation.  The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.  The overall registration and survey process was managed by Best Companies Group of Harrisburg, PA, which analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.

The Best Places to Work in New Jersey annual award program was created in 2005 by NJBIZ Magazine, New Jersey's only weekly business journal covering the entire state.  NJBIZ Magazine, along with program sponsors Gibbons, P.C. and Novo Nordisk, and partners Garden State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), The New Jersey State Chamber, Employers Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, will honor this year's 70 Best Places to Work during an awards dinner and ceremony on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the Hilton East Brunswick.  NJBIZ will also highlight the winners in a special issue to be published on May 2, 2011.
