Nobel Prize Winner to Address CAM Medical Conference in Virginia
Dr. Luc Montagnier to Discuss Groundbreaking Research That May Lead to Novel Treatments of Diseases like Autism, Alzheimer's and More
RESTON, Va., April 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Dr. Luc Montagnier, winner of the 2008 Nobel Prize in medicine for his discovery of HIV, will be presenting groundbreaking scientific findings and their implications for the future of medicine at the Joint American Homeopathic Conference (JAHC) on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia (3:00 p.m.).
Dr. Montagnier's team is investigating the properties of DNAs from pathogenic microorganisms. Specifically, Montagnier's new research is investigating the electromagnetic waves that emanate from the highly diluted DNA of various pathogens. Montagnier asserts, "What we have found is that DNA produces structural changes in water, which persist at very high dilutions, and which lead to resonant electromagnetic signals that we can measure. Not all DNA produces signals that we can detect with our device. The high-intensity signals come from bacterial and viral DNA."
Montagnier affirms that these new observations will lead to novel treatments for many common chronic diseases, including but not limited to autism, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis.
Dr. Luc Montagnier was born in the town of Chabris, near Tours. He became interested in science in his early childhood through his father, an accountant, who carried out experiments on Sundays in a makeshift laboratory in the basement of the family home. Prior to his 1983 discovery (with F. Barre-Sinoussi) of HIV, he had made a significant number of discoveries and contributions to medical research, advancing, among other areas, cancer research and viral disease treatment. Since 1993, Dr. Montagnier has been president of the Foundation he co-founded with F. Mayor, then Director General of UNESCO, the World Foundation for AIDS Research and Prevention.
