Noisypeak™ Encoders Now Available in the Americas

LAUSANNE, Switzerland and READING, Pa., April 8, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Noisypeak and Mobile Video Devices, Inc. today announce that the two companies have entered into a long term strategic distribution agreement. Mobile Video Devices, Inc. will be the USA/Canada master distributor for Noisypeak's advanced GPU/CPU encoding and transcoding product line, and will distribute the full range of Noisypeak products to the MVD reseller channel, plus provide post-sale support and warranty services.

Developed and manufactured by Noisypeak, the product line includes the flagship Noisypeak ONE. This encoding device allows for capture from any type of source and then deliver to any type of screen. Truly mobile at a pocket-sized 5.4 x 3.9 x 4.9 inches and 14.4 ounces, the Noisypeak ONE is able to run on a standard 12v battery, and simultaneously capture up to four full HD independent sources.

Mobile Video Devices, Inc. will distribute additional Noisypeak products including the Noisypeak CELL, EIGHT, and AMP! All Noisypeak solutions can be managed via web control, and the Noisypeak ONE also includes a touchscreen graphical interface. Additionally, users can take advantage of Noisypeak's Encoding As a Service (EAS) cloud acceleration subscription service. Noisypeak solutions are based on Uniform Encoding Engine or U-EN2 expertise, totally scalable from 1 to 32 GPU's of video processing technology with cloud computing support at the core level. U-EN2 is modular and enables the user to add encoding technologies like HEVC or new packaging like MPEG-DASH in a very simple plug-and-play manner. Further, the Noisypeak line is fully compatible with Magewell capture products – another key manufacturer distributed by Mobile Video Devices, Inc.
