
Nominations Now Open for ASU+GSV Summit's 2014 Return on Education (ROE) Innovation Awards
2014 ROE Awards Presented by Arizona State University, GSV Advisors, and the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., March 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Do you have a company that is dramatically improving learning outcomes and increasing access to education? A company that is reducing the cost for learners and making a sustainable and scaled impact? A company that is transforming the education landscape? Then your company is eligible to be nominated for the 2014 Return on Education Innovation Awards.
Running from now until April 4, 2014, nominations are open for the 2014 ROE Awards, presented by ASU, GSV and the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation. Submitting companies/organizations should exemplify high impact and Return on Education as measured by their ability to deliver one or more of the following tangible learner outcomes:
- Significantly increasing access to education;
- Greatly reducing the cost for learners and/or learning institutions;
- Dramatically improving learning outcomes;
- and/or providing substantial leverage to learning leaders (teachers, professors);
- while making a sustainable and scaled impact

More than 1,500 investors, entrepreneurs and leaders from education, business, government and philanthropy will gather at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale for the Fifth Annual ASU+GSV Education Innovation Summit from April 21-23, 2014. The ASU+GSV Summit is unique in that it doesn't focus solely on education policy or technology, but brings key stakeholders from across the spectrum together in one place to collaborate and drive change, and serves as a launch pad for new ideas and ventures.
Headlining this year's event are former Governor of Florida Jeb Bush; NBA legend and global social entrepreneur Earvin "Magic" Johnson; and Netflix co-founder and CEO, investor and philanthropist Reed Hastings.
Finalists will be announced prior to the Summit, at which time registrants will be invited to vote to help determine the winners. ASU+GSV Summit attendees will vote on winners via our mobile app. Winners will be presented at the Summit's Awards Dinner on Wednesday, April 23rd in Scottsdale, Ariz.
