Nonprofit Wells of Life to Receive Donation of Marketing and Branding Services
Forge 54 will donate pro bono services to Wells of Life during their annual marketing weekend, October 2-4, 2015
LAGUNA BEACH, Calif., Aug. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Orange County nonprofit Wells of Life was announced as the 2015 recipient of nonprofit organization Forge 54's annual marketing, advertising and design services weekend. Through this partnership, Wells of Life will receive assistance with their branding strategies so as to promote their message with greater strength and reach.
"We believe that the timing is perfect for the efforts of Forge 54," said Nick Jordan, CEO and Founder. "We've crafted our message very well and the next step is to take it out into the world."
Over the past six years, Wells of Life has helped fund the drilling of 148 wells in rural Uganda bringing clean drinking water to over 100,000 villagers. Under the direction of Forge 54, Wells of Life hopes to support their message of bringing clean water to all with an improved and easily accessible process of raising funds for future wells.
The volunteers at Forge 54 are young professionals and students working in the fields of marketing, advertising, design, digital, public relations and video. The team will collaborate with Wells of Life to update their current strategies of communication so that prospective donors are more encouraged to participate in this life-changing cause.
"Forge is special because everyone involved is there to donate their time and work as a team, adding a sense of passion, pride and excitement to Orange County's nonprofit community," said Forge 54 president Torrey Tayenaka. "We are about to embark on our third annual weekend and are excited to help Wells of Life achieve their vision."
Wells of Life knows that in the world of charitable giving, donations can't always be tracked in tangible and measurable ways, but because of the work Wells of Life does, a donor can see their dollars turned into physical solutions in the form of wells. With Forge's help, Wells of Life hopes to develop a new accounting system that tracks a well's progress towards completion. By exposing the process in a visual way, Wells of Life thinks that more people will be drawn to the cause.
"The first step is always the hardest to take," said Jordan. "But once people realize that it is socially unacceptable that one billion people are without clean water, the momentum will be unstoppable."
Jordan knows that the innovative young minds that gather at Forge 54 will bring new ideas to the table that will make Wells of Life's operating process more efficient and ultimately more successful.
"Forge will create the wings, we'll hope for wind and then flight will be the result," said Jordan.
The Forge 54 marathon marketing weekend will take place over 54 hours on October 2nd-4th with a final presentation of created deliverables on Sunday evening. Jordan is excited to collaborate with Forge 54 and anticipates that the team of creative individuals will generate instruments of change and hope for Wells of Life.
