Nortek Names Kris Holla as Chief Sales Officer, Data Center Products

PROVIDENCE, R.I., Dec. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Nortek, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTK), a global diversified company with leading brands and innovative, technology-driven products and solutions for residential and commercial applications, today announced that Kris Holla, 53, has been appointed Chief Sales Officer, Data Center Products.  In this newly created position, Holla will be responsible for developing and expanding Nortek's presence in the mission critical data center and server markets.

Holla has over 27 years of experience in a wide range of industries largely focused on data centers, computing and telecommunications.

He was formerly Chief Sales Officer at TALIS Group, a major supplier of valve technology and fittings. Prior to that, Holla was President and CEO of NxGen Modular, a specialty manufacturer of turnkey modular mission critical buildings and assemblies for the data center industry. In addition, Holla worked for ten years as Executive Vice President and CSO for a division of Emerson Electric's Network Power business, primarily focused on data center infrastructure products.

Holla holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Engineering, India, and a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University.  In addition, he has completed executive education courses at several top U.S. business schools.
