North County Economic Summit Slated for March 2, 2016
Event to feature 2016 National, State and North San Diego regional economies forecasts
SAN MARCOS, Calif., Feb. 2, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 3rd annual North County Economic Summit will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Networking begins at 7 a.m.) at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad. Wells Fargo Managing Director and Senior Economist Mark Vitner will present a forecast on the national, state and regional data trends. BW Research President Josh Williams will provide the 2016 North County Prospects Report, a comprehensive analysis of the region's economy and how it has changed and evolved the past year – and what that means for the region's future.
North County Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC) is hosting the Summit, in partnership with presenting sponsor, Wells Fargo. In addition, the program will feature a panel discussion on "The Quality of Life Equation for North County: Work, Housing & Transportation that will discuss new ideas and strategies for continuing to improve North County's quality of life for residents, businesses, and even our visitors from outside the region. The panel will also examine the increasingly complex relationship between employment, housing and transportation in the region—the current status and where we can move it into the future.
The distinguished panel, moderated by George Chamberlin, business editor and host of "Money in the Morning" on KOGO Radio and Money Advisor for NBC 7 News, both in San Diego, will include:
