MONROE, La., July 23, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Northeast Delta Human Services Authority is proud to announce a growing range of recovery support services designed to empower individuals on their journey to healing and stability. By fostering connection, education, and access, we are helping people in recovery build brighter, healthier futures.
Our recovery supports include:
Provider Meet Ups – regular gatherings where local providers come together to identify and share resources, strengthening the network of support available to individuals in recovery.
Movie Nights – safe, welcoming social events designed to help people in recovery build community and enjoy positive, substance-free activities.
Life Skills Classes – workshops that teach essential skills such as stress management, communication, and job readiness, giving individuals the tools to thrive in recovery and beyond.
Opioid Recovery Groups – supportive spaces that offer peer connection, accountability, and strategies for sustaining recovery.
We are honored to partner with Second Chances and Good News Counseling in providing these services. Together, we are creating integrated systems of care that meet people where they are.
To address access barriers, we also offer transportation services, enabling participants to attend groups and classes. In addition, our team and partners actively engage in homeless outreach, identifying individuals struggling with addiction and connecting them to integrated care services that include treatment, housing resources, and ongoing support.
