Northstar now working with additional partners to expand medical marijuana product line

HOLBROOK, N.Y., March 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Northstar Global Business Services, Inc. (OTCPink:MDIN) today announced that it has started working on new products in the medical marijuana industry with some of the most influential partners in the business. With medical marijuana gaining more steam every day, the company has decided that it has much more to offer to the growing industry than just its patented spray technology, so applying those other strengths to the industry seems like a natural progression.

The decision was made because recent sales show much faster growth than expected. Online retailer drugstore.com's third reorder arrived recently when the product ran out of stock earlier than predicted, and catalog publisher QCI Direct has also reordered several times, showing a steady flow of product to consumers. More importantly, it's not just Snorenz that is getting attention. Northstar also received sizable purchase orders for the company's other products, Goodnight's Sleep, and Snorenz Night Time from The Vermont Country Store, an online and traditional brick and mortar retailer with several locations in the northeast. "This shows us that we are delivering what consumers want, and that has encouraged us to expand our medical marijuana offering to target a few of the same areas of interest," explained Northstar's CEO, Nick Chieco.

Recently, the company announced partnerships with several players in the medical marijuana space, including Washington State's Kush Creams. More recently, several new industry leaders have come to the table including Denver Colorado's Northwest Wellness Center, and development on new products has already begun. These newer products will be announced, as they are ready for release.

The company admits that focusing so aggressively on the product development and distribution has delayed efforts to attain other goals the company has set, like producing audited financials, and removing the DTCC chill placed on Northstar's securities several years ago, but the company feels that its number one job is selling products, and that should always come first. The company wishes to assure shareholders that it will accomplish those tasks once its current distribution commitments are fulfilled, and the new products are rolled out.
