Northwest Federal Credit Union & Leesburg's 21st Annual Independence Day Celebration!

LEESBURG, Va., July 8, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Northwest Federal Credit Union was the gold sponsor of Leesburg's 21st Annual Independence Day Celebration as it continues to introduce itself to the Leesburg community and celebrate its first branch in Loudoun County.

Northwest Federal contributed the award winning "Most Creative" float in the Independence Day Parade featuring their mascot, Westie, the West Highland White Terrier, enjoying a "Great American Pool Party." Credit union employees walked with the float and handed out free coin pouches and giveaways to parade onlookers.

Attendants of the music festival and fireworks celebration at Ida Lee Park also received free gifts from Northwest Federal including stadium cups and collapsible "Frisbee" flyers.

"We were delighted to have the opportunity to share our patriotic spirit with the residents of the Town of Leesburg," said Northwest Federal Credit Union's President and CEO, Gerrianne D. Northwest Federal recently opened a branch located at 525 Trimble Plaza off Battlefield Parkway in the Oaklawn development in Leesburg.   Lobby hours for Northwest Federal's Leesburg Branch are Monday – Friday 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Drive-thru banking hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
